Everyone can do one thing to change a child’s life.
Every year almost nine million children around the world die from basic, preventable diseases like pneumonia, malaria or diarrhoea before they turn five. Save the Children’s EVERY ONE campaign is about getting health services to the children that need them most.
TelstraClear are supporters of Save the Children NZ and in 2010 helped launch their New Zealand EVERY ONE campaign in Auckland, with special guest HRH The Princess Royal, Princess Anne.
As Chairman of Save the Children NZ since March 2008, TelstraClear CEO Dr Allan Freeth is passionate about helping the organisation further the rights and well-being of children in New Zealand and around the world.
During 2010, TelstraClear employees were involved in a variety of focus groups to assist with the strategic enhancement of Save the Children NZ’s brand and online presence. We gladly provided advertising space on our website to promote emergency response appeals to support the Haiti earthquake and Pakistan flood victims, and will again in 2011 have TelstraClear volunteers hitting the streets to help Save the Children NZ fundraise during their Annual Appeal Week.
